This technology uses blocks of solid ink (almost like a huge crayon) as opposed to plastic filled with liquid ink. Obviously that results in less waste (if that matters to you). If it doesn't, the fact is that this printer is very fast and makes amazing quality color prints with little problems (paper jams, etc.).
There are too many programming / technology features to list, however if all of them are taken advantage of...this is a great multi-function device for a medium sized business (50 people or so). |
Problems: In my opinion, the largest problem with this printer is that when you hand someone a beautiful color brochure...and they toss it in their car to look at later...the ink can re-heat and take away (dramatically) from the original quality of the image.
Additionally, if you fold the paper...it causes a distinct line where folded.
Other little glitches in the programming exist but are too minimal to be considered a "problem" |
