| I would stay away from this product. The output of my unit was absolutely terrible. The technician was useless. The company wants to blame paper and toner cartridges and everything else under the sun. You will need a service call, right out-of-the-box, to receive a firmware update that supposedly fixes dithering issues, color issues, etc., as the user cannot update firmware. |
| Problems: I had a myriad of issues with this printer, including terrible print quality, failure to center images, banding, distorted transfers, incorrect color reproduction under any color profile, paper jams from the bypass tray, a lack of PCL 1200 x 1200 dpi on the control panel, and no real edge-to-edge printing as defined by anyone who has ever printed a photograph or label. A Ricoh technician was dispatched to my house, but failed to do a firmware update that I am told might have fixed some of the problems. I was also forced to pay shipping charges back to the seller which was maddening considering all the problems with the unit. |
