| Prints sharp and crisp pages, scan and fax as advertised. Would do well as a stand alone printer. |
Problems: 2/6/2011: We bought our Officejet 6500 E710 All-in- One expecting a simple plug and play install. After 6 hours of picking and poking at the printer, PC and router, we still can’t get any wireless or wired network connection.
Windows XP SP3, Compaq Presario 2200 (wired network), D-Link DIR-601 G/N router in mixed mode.
1) On-line or printed technical information about the printers networking is thin or practically non excitant.
2) Does not see the router over the wired network
3) Does not see any of several wireless networks available.
I’ll work on this over the weekend but if we can’t get help or resolve the problem soon, we will return it to the store.
