| It may call itself a scanner, but, it won't scan a document to the pc. Ok for copying and printing but where is the so called SCAN ability. My advice, don't waste your money. |

| Printing is ok but the user friendly part is a failing grade. |
Problems: Help! I cannot make it to print 2 slides in one side of the paper and to be printed on both side.
I need slides 1,2 on the first side of the first page, then 3,4 on the second side of the first page and so on and the printer setting doesnt let me!
Any ideas? any software HP can develop to make this possible on my HP deskjet 2050 j510a?
its soo simple function! Why didnt they make that possible? it only comes out 1,3 on first side when i click odd pages. +_+ |

| This printer most definitely does do all the things it claims. I'm pretty impressed with it for the price(not the price listed above). |
| Problems: Only problem I have had with it is trying to get the scanner to work over my home network without physically connecting my laptop to it by usb. Still prints over network, though. |

gg13's review is a bit wrong. This printer can: - scan and save as pdf (at least on mac), - print double-sided (this is a manual duplex printing option, i.e. you have to turn the pages after it has printed them all on one side). However, the double-sided printing option seems to work on Windows only, i could not figure out how to activate it on mac os snow leopard.
Considering its price this printer is a very good choice. Of course don't expect a top quality when printing photos, but if you only want to print, scan or copy documents, then it does the job well. And it's more eco-friendly than most more expensive printers... |
